Exciting News for Pathfinders

A Message from Alan Brennan, Pathfinders CEO

Alan Brennan Pathfinders CEO

It is with great pleasure I inform you that the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) has renewed Pathfinders’ accreditation to deliver Pathfinders’ Out of Home Care program for 5 years till 2025. The ability to provide safety, support, care and comfort to the most vulnerable children and young people within our communities is not without challenge. Achieving coveted accreditation status from the OCG, demonstrates Pathfinders’ commitment and our capacity to deliver quality, appropriate and timely services to children and young people in our care.

In December 2020 Pathfinders also undertook the final phase of our NDIS accreditation audit. It is with great pleasure that I can also inform our Directors, Staff and Partners that Pathfinders has achieved NDIS provisional accreditation. I can advise that the NDIS auditor stated in their email to Pathfinders: “Congratulations again and thanks for a great job, the compliance level was fabulous”.

Once again this demonstrates Pathfinders commitment not only to our clients, participants and community, but it also underlines the dedication and commitment of our staff to deliver services of excellence, and our capacity to respond to the rigorous demands of two of the most demanding accreditation systems in Australia.

Congratulations are due to our Out of Home Care team, our Corporate and Financial Services teams and Directors who have assisted in Pathfinders efforts to achieve both these accreditations in these highly demanding audits under the difficult circumstances of the pandemic. These achievements are true testament to the hard work and commitment and capacity of our teams, the vision, spirit and resilience of Pathfinders and its staff.
