Austin Page College at the University of New England in Armidale have been busy over the past year hosting charity events to raise funds for Pathfinders and BackTrack Youth Works in Armidale.
In April, Pathfinders staff were invited to attend the college’s annual Charities cross Arts Dinner (CHARTS). The 2022 dinner had a Disney theme, with an appearance from 101 Dalmatians, Mickey Mouse, and all the Disney Princesses.
The night was filled with entertainment, auctions, raffles, fete stalls and a lot of laughter. Some of the students even agreed to shave their heads! The night raised over $6000 to be donated to the charities.
In July, the Pathfinders team attend the college’s first Rainbow Run. The colourful event was held at the university with a 2.5km track. Pathfinders staff and young people from Pathfinders Out-of-Home Care program attended and participated in the non-competitive fun run.
We are incredibly grateful to the students, friends and families who have attended this year’s fundraising events and have made a donation to Pathfinders.
Thank you for this kind donation.
