Foster Care Week is an annual event that celebrates and raises awareness about foster care and the incredibly important role carers play in supporting children and young people. The events and celebrations held during foster care week aim to highlight and appreciate our valuable pool of foster carers and the contribution they make to the lives of vulnerable children and young people in our community.

The theme of Foster Care Week 2024 is ‘Today’s carers, tomorrow’s future’, highlighting the life-changing impact that foster carers can have, laying the foundations for positive futures for children and young people in care.
