Donations

Now more than ever families and young people need our help

Your donation makes a real difference to children, young people and families who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, disadvantage, trauma or domestic violence.

Pathfinders is a registered Australian charity focused on helping people with limited resources. We are entirely dependent on government funding and public donations to deliver our services when and where they are needed.

With your support we can build a better future for vulnerable families and young people.

Thank you for your donation.

We could not provide the support we do without our generous supporters.

Pathfinders uses a secure payment gateway to ensure all donations are processed securely. If you would like to discuss your donation or need any more information, please reach out to the Pathfinders finance team at finance@pathfinders.ngo or call 5775 9800.

All donations are tax deductible.

Donate goods and items

We could not provide the support we do without our generous supporters.

Thank you for considering a donation of goods and items. Your donation will assist people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Donated items will be directed to one of the following programs:

  • Children in Out of Home Care
  • Pathfinders Youth Homelessness Support Service
  • Pathfinders Armidale Youth Refuge
  • Pathfinders Women’s and Children’s Refuge (Inverell), or
  • Pathfinders Glen Innes and Inverell Specialist Homelessness Support Services.

What can be donated?

We gratefully accept goods that can be passed onto those in need. To respect people’s
dignity, we generally only accept new and good quality items.
We accept the following items if they are new:

  • sleeping bags or swags
  • towels
  • non-perishable food (in-date only)
  • fresh produce
  • gift vouchers (preferably food only, no alcohol)
  • new sleepwear, or
  • toiletries and female sanitary items.

We also accept new and good quality second-hand household furniture and blankets.
Blankets should be freshly washed and free from rips, odours or stains. Please do not donate anything that is in poor condition.

What can’t be donated?

Due to storage constraints and hygiene and safety reasons, there are several items we unfortunately cannot accept, including

  • bric-a-brac
  • electrical items, and
  • pre-cooked food.

If you would like to support people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, please consider making a financial donation so we can purchase the supplies we need at the time we need them.
