About Me
My name is Tony and I love nature and the outdoors, including gardening and most sports, especially water-based sports. I have worked with both youth and the elderly in the past, as well as in the present, including people with disability, and my endeavour is to continue in this field of work in the future.
I am passionate about working with the ageing population and gaining as much wisdom from them along the way.
I have extensive experience in watersports and am qualified in teaching fishing, kayaking and paddle-boarding. I have worked in home-based aged care and as a youth worker in home support services, including overnight sleepover work with youth and people with disability. I have also worked with youth groups in a vocational training environment, helping them gain the necessary skills to achieve their goals, prepare for later years, and enter the workforce.
My long-term goals are to continue seeking opportunities to work with community groups and organisations to develop activity-based programs, to mentor and support youth, and to support the elderly to enjoy positive experiences.
