About me
I began my career in early childhood in 2012, but it was my son’s Autism diagnosis that redirected my path towards a deeper exploration of early intervention and therapy. Guided by my passion for empowering families, I transitioned from a Senior Preschool teacher to an Early Childhood Early Intervention Coordinator. In this role, I demonstrated a focused approach to assessing needs and establishing support pathways for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Over a span of 5 years I worked closely with children and their families, facilitating goal setting and implementing strategies, ultimately fostering positive outcomes.

Building on my experience, I assumed the position of Senior Disabilities Coordinator at Pathfinders. I spearhead the assessment of children and young people under our care for NDIS funding eligibility, determining the most suitable pathway of support. As the program has grown, I now have the privilege of working with participants to determine their support needs, and alongside our incredible team of disability support workers.
Driven by my commitment to effecting positive change, I have embarked on further academic pursuits, pursuing a Diploma in Counselling with specialisations in Abuse, Child and Adolescent Counselling, Child development, Effective Parenting, and Mental Health. Additionally, I hold a certificate in Complex Trauma and Attachment Management, enhancing my capacity to address diverse needs within the community.
