This is UNE’s biggest welcome-to-campus event, held on Friday, 20th February 2026 at UNE Armidale.

Life Saver Day is an important event where new students are welcomed to both the University and the wider New England community. The day brings together an exciting mix of food vendors, local businesses, community organisations, student clubs, activities, demonstrations, and vibrant showcases that highlight everything Armidale has to offer.
