Pathfinders is a large community-based organisation providing Supported Accommodation and Homelessness services, Family and Youth Support services, National Aboriginal Birth Certificate program, Client Support Services and Out of Home Care services. Pathfinders’ programs are delivered across our geographical footprint including New South Wales and Northern Territory.
We are currently looking for a Part Time Therapeutic Youth Worker to be based in our Northern Territory Office.

Role of the Therapeutic Youth Worker
The role of the Therapeutic Youth Worker will be to deliver high quality therapeutic supports that holistically address the needs of children and young people.
The Therapeutic Youth Worker will work closely with the House Coordinator, Case Coordinator, Therapeutic Specialist and other therapeutic staff to provide therapeutic care in a home-like environment that supports young people to heal from trauma and live fulfilling lives.
The Therapeutic Youth Worker will require knowledge and understanding of the issues that affect Aboriginal communities, societies and cultures in the Northern Territory and willing to advocate on behalf of Aboriginal young people and their families in providing cultural support and provide services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children, young people and families.

This position is Level 4 and Pay Point 1 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Modern Award (“the SCHADS Award”)
