Last month Pathfinders, Pathways Out of Home Care teamed up with Hope in a Suitcase to provide suitcases to children supported in Foster Care in the Tamworth area. Hope in A Suitcase is a non-profit organisation.
In Tamworth it is run by volunteers Courtney and Dee, who organised and packed the children’s suitcases and backpacks with toiletries, warm clothing, books and toys to help the children settle in and feel welcome.Pathfinders collaborated with Hope In A Suitcase to ensure the cases and backpacks suited the age, gender and specific needs and interests of the children.
