Pathfinders is a large community-based organisation providing Supported Accommodation and Homelessness services, Family and Youth Support services, National Aboriginal Birth Certificate program, Client Support Services and Out of Home Care services. Pathfinders’ services are located across the Mid North Coast, New England and Northwest regions of NSW.
Pathfinders Out of Home Care Programs provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people who require accommodation and are unable to live with family or foster carers.
We are currently looking for a Part Time Therapeutic Specialist to work in one of our Inverell OR Armidale locations to assist in the Intensive Therapeutic care of these young people.
About the Role
The Therapeutic Specialist provides clinical leadership and consultation to the team. They also provide primary and secondary therapeutic support for children and young people in out- of-home care.
This role includes managing the dynamic, transactional and systemic broader systems of support around the young person.
Travel will be an expectation
This position is Level 5.3 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 (“the SCHADS Award”)
