Over the past six months, our team has had the privilege of providing outreach support to Rolland Plains Public School, and today marks the end of their time at the school.
Tegan from our Family Connect and Support (FCS) program has been the driving force behind our presence at Rollands Plains Upper Public School. She has been dedicating one day each month to visiting the school, building connections, and providing valuable support to the students, families, and staff.
Family Connect and Support is all about bringing families, support services, and community resources together to ensure the safety and well-being of our children and young people.
Today we celebrated the program’s last day at the school. Finishing it up in style, the team organised a day filled with fun games and activities for the students to enjoy. We also treated everyone to a delicious and wholesome morning tea, to say goodbye and to end the term on a high.
While it’s always challenging to say goodbye, we are excited to share that the FCS team’s outreach program will be starting at a new school next term. We’ll be carrying forward the same great services to support families and students in remote areas.
Thank you to Rollands Plains Upper Public School and everyone who made our time at the school so enjoyable.
