Pathfinders is a large community-based organisation providing Supported Accommodation and Homelessness services, Family and Youth Support services, National Aboriginal Birth Certificate program, NDIS Support Services, Client Support Services and Out of Home Care services. Pathfinders’ services are located across the Mid North Coast, New England and Northwest Regions and the Northern Territory. We are currently looking for a Part Time Aboriginal Early Years Program Support Worker based in Inverell for 30 hours per week.

Role of the AEYP Support Worker
The Aboriginal Early Years Program (AEYP) Support Worker specifically supports early intervention work to provide support to families, to give children a good start in life through improved early childhood development, care, education and school readiness. The AEYP Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with families with preschool aged children, targeting Indigenous children only aged between 2-6 years that are not engaged in early childhood activities or transition to school activities, servicing Inverell, Ashford, Tingha, Glen Innes, Armidale, Uralla, Walcha, Gunnedah, Quirindi, Narrabri, Wee Waa and Pilliga.
Willingness to travel regularly across Gunnedah, Armidale, Guyra and Inverell regions.

This position is Level 3 and Pay Point 1 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Modern Award (“the SCHADS Award”)
