Pathfinders was proud to support the Tamworth Regional Council’s Youth Week 2025 celebrations by attending the Skate and Novelty Sport Competition this week at the Tamworth Regional Skate Park. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local community and celebrate the energy and creativity of young people.
The event featured live music from local youth performers, pro BMX, scooter and skateboard workshops, a free BBQ lunch, and a range of interactive games, activities, and competitions. It brought together young people, families, and service providers in a vibrant and inclusive setting.
Pathfinders staff were present throughout the day, supporting the facilitation of activities and providing information about our services and programs to young people and their families. Our outreach stand was a popular stop, with giveaways, branded merchandise, and interactive competitions helping to spark conversations and engagement. One of the most popular activities was the “Guess the Lollies in the Jar” challenge, with the winner taking home the jar of treats. We also hosted a colouring-in competition where participants designed their own skate deck artwork, with the winning design receiving a $50 EB Games gift voucher.
Pathfinders extends a big thank you to Tamworth Regional Council for hosting such a successful Youth Week event and to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a great success.
