The AbSec Awards are dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the incredible efforts of those working tirelessly to support Aboriginal children, young people and families recognise the remarkable contributions and outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations committed to improving outcomes for our children, young people and families.
The Pathfinders National Aboriginal Birth Certificate Program works closely with Aboriginal communities and organisations to secure birth certificates for Aboriginal people. This valuable document is arguably the first step toward full participation, employment, rights and identity as an Australian citizen.
