Pathfinders Opens Palmerston Office

This week marks a significant milestone for Pathfinders with the opening of our first Northern Territory office in Palmerston, Darwin. The new office represents the beginning of a stronger local presence, bringing our support closer to home for NT families, young people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

More than just a workplace, the Palmerston office will serve as a hub for connection, advocacy, and opportunity. From this base, our team will deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive programs, including regular National Aboriginal Birth Certificate Program sign-up days.

The launch also introduced Pathways Forward, a pilot program providing practical, emotional, and one-on-one support to help participants build confidence, establish daily routines, navigate housing or health needs, secure identification and transport, and access mentoring.

In partnership with Quality Construction and Maintenance, a respected Northern Territory construction company, eligible participants may also gain access to supported work placements and apprenticeships, offering a pathway towards long-term employment.

We look forward to working alongside the community to build safer, stronger futures for the Northern Territory.
