Pathfinders Support Your Path Program at the Links for Life Disability Expo in Tamworth

Yesterday, the Pathfinders Support Your Path program had the privilege of participating in the highly anticipated Links for Life Disability Expo held in Tamworth. This annual event has become a cornerstone in the disability support community, and this year was no exception. With over 70 service providers offering valuable information and support, it was an invaluable opportunity for individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and service providers to explore a wide range of resources.

Our team was pleased to be able to provide participants at the expo with information on the new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Housing we currently have available in Armidale. We understand that suitable homes are the foundation of independence, and we’re pleased to have 2 brand-new homes available with 24-hour onsite support.

As a Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider, we offer crucial support to residents living in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). We understand that independence means different things to different people. Some may require occasional support, while others need more regular assistance. Our flexible approach ensures that each person’s unique needs are met, empowering them towards their personal goals.

The success of this year’s Links for Life Disability Expo was evidenced by the impressive turnout. More than 1,000 visitors from all over New England and the North West flocked to the event, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere.

Pathfinders’ Support Your Path program was pleased to be a part of this year’s expo. Our team was on hand to provide information and offer guidance to those seeking to navigate the complex landscape of disability support. We are proud to be part of an event that aligns so closely with our mission, and we look forward to being back in Tamworth next year.
